Our shareholder-buyer-manager is utterly passionate about wine; he has long-standing expertise in the grands crus.
Partner Norbert Cardon, buyer, shareholder and manager of
Vinobilis, worked as an import agent of great French wines for the
province of Quebec: he was sole importer there for Seagram (Chateaux
Wine Estate). His position involved selling grands crus to the hotel and
restaurant trade in Quebec. On moving to Belgium he set up a business
dealing in rare wines, gaining further experience in buying from
merchants/producers and in the logistics of the craft. For many years
now he has been taking part in major tastings of primeurs organised by
the Union des Grands Crus of Bordeaux exclusively for the trade,
establishing firm relationships with the merchants of Bordeaux.
